1 first image: first song


there are two men on a very low table. one man sits on the table wearing a dog mask. the other man stands next to the dog and sings a song, “o longing for places”. As a dog howls in the background of the music, the man with the mask blows on the paper before his mouth.








2 second image: milk is filled


a man sits in front of a jar on a white box. underneath the jar is a video camera fed to a projection. he puts bingo balls into the jar and pours milk. a drawing is revealed as the milk fills the jar. as he stirs the milk, the drawing disintegrates into ink particles and disappears into the depth of the milk.














3 third image: my must needs over there


a man draws various types faces and body parts on a long piece of tracing paper. his spit on the paper makes the paper see-through so that his body parts merge with the drawings. the other man sings “my must needs over there”








4 fourth image: horror story


a man tells the following horror stories while he simultaneously draws what he tells.








5 fifth image: dog video


a man watches his video with the audience. in this video, a voice compares his houses in amsterdam and in seoul. he re-enacts several scenes from his old house in his new house, using masks and costumes. later on, the video shows historical dutch paintings and drawings in which servile dogs occupy a marginal-but-constantly-present space.








6 sixth image: touching heads


a man goes to a harmonium and sings a song, “touching heads”. the other man scrolls text across the the live projection screen about being inside a room under a roof.








7 last image: immersion


a man with a mask plays the memory match game, using the wall. another man sings a song, “man sweeping dust”, with pang-eul (korean bells), jae-gum (korean cymbals), kazoo, and finger symbols. a third man appears and learns the song. as the first man disappears into a body mask, the third man hits the drum. the LiSa sampling program accumulates various sounds in layers and there is no more text left. the light goes out.
